2nd Wave: For a stronger defense against the virus

Coronavirus is taking a heavy toll and we are helpless to the devastation caused by it. But, we cannot sit idle rather we should focus on making our immune system stronger. It will also make the defense against any attack by the virus stronger. For doing so, we should change our diet plan and include some of the food items in our routine.

First of all, go for virgin mojito. In plain words – lemon juice. Squeeze lemons and make juice. Drink as much as you can. Lemons are rich in vitamin C which contributes greatly to make our immune system stronger.

Papaya is another cheap fruit that is loaded with vitamin C. You can buy it from any makeshift vegetable shop or even ask your relatives living in the countryside to send some for you. Apart from Vitamin C, they also contain a digestive enzyme called papain that has anti-inflammatory effects along with sufficient amounts of potassium, magnesium, and folate.

Again, increase intake of green vegetables. Go for spinach. This vegetable is available in the local markets and the good news is that it’s packed with numerous antioxidants and beta carotene, both of which have the ability to contribute to your immune system. However, don’t cook it too much as it offers the most nutrients when it’s half cooked.

Have citrus fruits as they are rich in Vitamin C which is thought to increase the production of white blood cells, the key component to fight infections in the body. Almost all citrus fruits, namelyoranges, lemon and grapefruits, are high in vitamin C. Don’t forget to add a squeeze of this vitamin to every meal you will have in the coming days.

Finally, include some spices in your meal. Say for example ginger. Ginger is a very popular item, rather considered as a spice, in the South Asian countries, Bangladesh and India to be particular. People from all walks of life use ginger in a variety of dishes and desserts. According to different study findings, ginger is supposed to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties and is most likely to offer health benefits. So, next time you want to have a cup of tea, ask your partner to make ginger tea for you. It will not only refresh yourself but also give a boost to your immune system.

These can play great roles in boosting your defense against any unwanted attack by the coronavirus. Order these items today!
