On the demand for monochrome in Bangladesh, Samia Ahmed, head of marketing at fashion brand Twelve, told The Daily Star, “In the age of globalization, Bangladesh, like many countries in the developed world, has a winds of change. Instead of going into a red cloth like the Western world, the demand for light emblisement is seen in Bangladesh or Asian fashion culture. People’s tastes are changing regularly. So in keeping with the ages, everyone now likes to bring modernity into themselves. That is why there is a demand for monochrome fashion in Bangladesh and it is increasing day by day. ’

Asked who was more interested in the trend, Twelve fashion designer Shubhagat Bhattacharya said, “Young people are always more interested in any trend. In this case too, it is no exception. However, elders also like monochrome. They are comfortable wearing one-colour clothes from wearing bright lying clothes in bahari colours. Along with the elders, the little ones are now wearing light-designed clothes in one-colour shade clothes. ’

He added, “A large part of our fashion consumer is covered by the young society. With the touch of the modern world, today’s youngsters are making themselves look fluent in the current fashion trend. ’

When asked how clothes are being used in this monochromatic fashion, Samia Ahmed said the name suggests that mono means one and chrome means colour. That is, there is a combination of different shades of monochromatic or the same colour. If someone wears the same color from head to toe, he is mainly wearing a monochrome dress. Various clothes including lilen, viscose, diamond georgette, double georgette are being used to make such clothes.

He added that these clothes will be available in showrooms of various brands including Twelve between Rs 1,690 and Rs 3.590. Blue, brown, brown, brown, pitch colour and other colours are being given importance for monochrome. Since it’s a one-colour fashion, monochrome style statements can be made with any colour shade.

Those who have worn different styles so far can choose monochrome as a style statement. You have to decide whether to use a dark or light color. However, it is wise to choose a light colour during summer. Monochrome is also liked in Bangladeshi clothes. Choose a monochromatic salwar kameez, along with that color veil.
