Urbi Islam, a dental student, has recently been crowned as ‘Mrs Universe Bangladesh 2019’ at a dazzling grand finale held at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). She will represent Bangladesh at the global contest styled as ‘Mrs Universe’ to be held in China this month.

The first runner-up of the contest was Annano Prema while the third and fourth positions were bagged by Saika Alam and Sagufta Faruq Sadia respectively. Apurbo Abdul Latif, organizer of the beauty contest, said, “This contest was designed for the married women.” Even director Krishan Bhuiyan shared, “We have taken all the measures with a view to maintaining international standards for this contest.”
