Get Glittery Lips

A speedy way to look fierce in minutes is to douse yourself in glitter. Okay maybe not douse, but a good place to start is with a glittery lip. While glittery lipsticks may seem too heavy on any other day of the year, it’s perfect for a New Year party! Whack on a clear lip-gloss or one with a bit of sparkle if you want extra fancy. Sparkling Eyes

The other thing that makes more sense than glittery lips is sparkling eyes. You could try all shades. This one’s great for the New Year’s eve parties. A colourful pick would be silver and pink. Simply put on white highlighter in the inner corners of the eyes. Apply golden eye shadow. This might seem counter intuitive but applying golden base would actually help the pink and silver shine out more. Opt for sparkling pink eye-shadow for the eyelids and the silver one as an extension. Finish it off with eyeliner and false eyelashes. You could even put on coloured contacts for a better impression.

Use More Concealer

Let’s face it, we’re all guilty of cutting corners to get to the exciting stuff when it comes to applying our makeup. That means things like concealer can get overlooked for vampy eyes or bold lips. But if you’re planning on party hopping, concealer is your best friend for life! Apply your concealer after foundation to avoid wiping it away and go for a shade lighter to cheat some sleep. Nude Makeup

Nobody wants to look dull in the last evening of the year. However, nude makeup can also look very attractive. All you need is absence of colours to make them pop. Opt for shimmery nude eye shadow. A slight hay colour such as yellow could look mesmerizing. Opt for light brown lipstick and peach blush. This would look great with black or golden outfits.

Eye Brows

If you’ve got strong brows (or the illusion of strong brows), you can get away with a multitude of sins. Failing that, you’re at least going to look fierce with minimum effort.
